Programs and Policies in Use by Corridor Jurisdictions

This section describes a variety of programs and policies that local Corridor jurisdictions are using to encourage the development of new housing and address the supply side of the housing equation on affordability. This section is divided into two categories: Planning/Land Use Tools and Developer Incentive Tools and Preservation and Affordability Tools. Each section provides a description of the planning tool or strategy and includes a local case study with lessons learned and key considerations submitted by the case study jurisdiction. A list of corridor jurisdictions using each strategy and links to available resources are also included.
