Join us for a presentation and discussion on the future of El Camino Real. The El Camino Real corridor, which includes Caltrain, historic downtowns, large central parks, shopping malls and plenty of potential, is the backbone of the Peninsula. Now is the time to plan for a mix of new homes, jobs, shops and parks to create a Grand Boulevard of meaningful destinations. Learn more about this effort and share your thoughts with us!
The Walk the Talk Forum will begin at 5:30 pm with introductions and refreshments. South San Francisco Mayor Kevin Mullin will give the opening remarks at 6 pm followed by a presentation from Michele Beasley, Senior Field Representative of Greenbelt Alliance. Residents will then have an opportunity to voice their opinions and participate in a group discussion. The meeting will end at 7:30 pm.
This forum is cosponsored by: Greenbelt Alliance, San Mateo County Transit District, Sierra Club, City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, Sustainable San Mateo County, CA Center for Public Health Advocacy, and the South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.
