Pedestrian countdown signals should be provided at all new signals. The installation of Audible Accessible Pedestrian Signals may be considered when an engineering study and evaluation have been conducted and minimum conditions have been met (see CA MUTCD Section 4E). Refer to local agency for consideration of Tactile Accessible pedestrian pushbuttons.
