Follow the link below to read a recent article about South San Francisco's El Camino Real/Chestnut Avenue Area Plan. The El Camino Real/Chestnut Area Plan envisions a new neighborhood of up to 4,400 residents housed in low- to high-rise buildings, with a range of commercial uses; walking access to everyday amenities; new civic uses, potentially including a new City Library; and parks, plazas, and gathering spaces for the entire South San Francisco community.
